Dental Implants

Single Tooth Implants

A single implant replaces one missing tooth with a permanent, natural-looking result that never needs to come out.

What Is Single Tooth Implants?

A dental implant is a titanium post surgically placed into the jawbone that acts as an artificial tooth root. Once the implant integrates with the bone (osseointegration), a custom crown is attached on top. The result is a replacement tooth that looks, feels, and functions like a natural tooth — and doesn't affect neighboring teeth the way a bridge does.

How It Works

The process has three stages: implant placement (surgical procedure under local anesthesia, 30–60 minutes), healing period (3–6 months for osseointegration), then crown placement (2 appointments to take impressions and attach the final crown). Some patients are candidates for "teeth in a day" protocols.

Key Benefits

  • Permanent — lasts 20+ years or a lifetime with proper care
  • Preserves jawbone by stimulating bone like a natural root
  • Adjacent teeth don't need to be ground down (unlike a bridge)
  • Indistinguishable from natural teeth in appearance
  • No removal necessary — clean like a regular tooth
